Organization to apply for a grant up to $1,000 or a sponsorship up to $300. The committee will make funding recommendations to the BCF Board of Directors for approval.
What We Fund
•Events and efforts that increase awareness and provide education or increase the effectiveness, voice, and visibility about Black, Indigenous, people of color, LGBTQ+, immigrant, neurodiverse, and/or disability communities.
•Programs or projects that promote equity and inclusion.
•Improvements for spaces to accommodate all.
•DEI training or learning opportunities.
•Artistic projects that aim to transform narratives through the intersection of art, culture, and democracy in public spaces.
Grant awards may be given to projects that meet the following requirements.
1. To be eligible, applicants must be (or be associated with) a not-for-profit organization, school, or municipality group located in Barry County.
2. Projects or programs that benefit Barry County Residents. These funds do not support capital campaigns, endowment campaigns, and fundraising events.
3 .Preference will be given to proposals that provide community impact and promote community culture and engagement.
