This Campaign is the BCCEDA’s initiative to raise critical funds for modernizing the Barry County Chamber & EDA. These investments will allow us to better serve the community and attract new opportunities, ensuring long-term growth and resilience. By modernizing our resources we aim to create a sustainable future that benefits both our organization and the Barry County community.

Who we are – The Barry County Chamber & Economic Development Alliance is a dedicated organization committed to fostering a vibrant, prosperous community in Barry County, Michigan. We are a collaborative team of business leaders, community advocates, and economic development professionals who believe in the power of connection, innovation, and sustainable growth. With a strong network of members and partners, we provide valuable resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy efforts to promote the success of our local businesses and the economic well-being of our county.
Campaign Purpose – The Capital Campaign is our initiative to raise critical funds for modernizing the Barry County Chamber & EDA. These investments will allow us to better serve the community and attract new opportunities. Our goal is to reach $700,000 and then $300,000 annually to sustain these upgrades.
With these funds, our organization plans to:
- Hire more employees
- Upgrade to a larger and improved space
- Turn our current space in to the Innovation and Coworking Station
- Invest in critical technology
- Assemble a group of investors to support funding for large projects
- Update Infrastructure
- Clean up blight
- Increase housing stock
- Increase workforce numbers
- Enhance our physical spaces to make them inviting and appealing destinations
- Attract new eco-friendly businesses
- Leveling Up Barry County as a whole
